Kingstown, St Vincent: St Vincent and the Grenadines were kept quiet by Trinidad and Tobago?s spinners in the early stages of the final of the West Indies Cricket Board?s Women?s 50-Over League at Arnos Vale Playing Field 1, on Wednesday.The home side reached 45-2 off 19 overs and were under pressure. At the crease were Juliana Nero on 32 and captain Cordel Jack on three.

Trinidad and Tobago will meet St Vincent and the Grenadines in the final of the West Indies Cricket Board's Women's 50-Over League after hard-fought victories on Monday. The Vincentians defeated Jamaica by 31 runs at Arnos Vale Playing Field 2, while the Trinis beat Barbados by 28 runs at Arnos Vale Playing Field 1. The final will be played on Wednesday at 10 am (9 am Jamaica Time.) The third place play-off between Barbados and Jamaica will be at Arnos Vale 2 at the same time.

St Vincent and the Grenadines defeated Jamaica by 31 runs to reach the final of the West Indies Cricket Board's Women's 50-Over League at Arnos Vale Playing Field 2, on Monday. The home side made just 128 off their 50 overs but bounced back to bowl out the highly-fancied Jamaicans for just 97. The star player for the home side was Sheree-Ann John, who made a brave 24 not out and then took two wickets with her medium-pace, to take the Player-of-the-Match award.

Jamaica and Barbados showcased their dominance in Zone A as they soundly beat Dominica and St Lucia in the third and final preliminary round of matches in the West Indies Cricket Board's Women's 50-Over League on Sunday. The Bajans bowled out the St Lucians for 47 and trounced then by eight wickets at Arnos Vale Playing Field 2, while the Jamaican dismissed the Dominicans for 41 in a massive win by 148 runs at Stubbs Playing Field.

Kingstown, St Vincent: Trinidad and Tobago continue to make a solid defence of their title as the West Indies Cricket Board?s Women?s 50-Over League continued on Sunday with the third round of matches. The Trinis, who started the match with eight points following two wins, won the toss and sent Grenada in to bat. Grenada have already been reduced to five runs for one wicket in the second over of their Zone B match at Sion Hill.
