The 2009 Season
QPCC’s Super League outfit completed their first campaign in the Bmobile Super League with a sixth place finish in the league. Prior to the start of the season, a top six finish was the goal to ensure selection for the Toyota classic competition. However, in a strange move, the committee selected the top 6 teams prior to the last match day and at that time QPCC were seventh on goal difference and therefore omitted from the competition. Even though the team achieved its preseason goal of a top six finish, the season ended with a feeling of “what if” as QPCC was in third place and playing some of the best football in the league at the end of the first round.
