NOTE: A new Forum account needs to be created before posting comments and creating topics in the Forum.

How to Create a New Account?

1. Select the option "Forum" from the menubar. You will see in the left column "Username", "Password", "Create new account" and "Request a New Password".

2. Select the option "Create new account".

3. You will be presented with a screen with "Username" and "E-mail address".

4. Enter your "MEMBERSHIP NUMBER" for the "Username" and your "EMAIL ADDRESS". It is best to use the E-mail address that you currently receive your weekly updates from QPCC. (The information provided will only be used to verify your membership number.)

5. You will receive an Email confirming your application for a New Forum Account.

6. When the account is approved, another E-mail is sent informing you that your account has been activated.
    This E-mail will also contain instrutions to create a password.
   This is a one time process and is not required to login to the Forum each time.

How to Login? (Members who have already created a New Forum Account)

1. Select the option "Forum" from the menubar. You will see in the left column "Username", "Password", "Create new account" and "Request a New Password".

2. Enter your "MEMBERSHIP NUMBER" for the "Username".

3. Enter your password.

4. You can now proceed to Reply to Forum topics or "Post New Forum Topics".

How do I Reply to posted Forum Topics?

1. Log in using your Member Number and password. (See above for instructions to login and creating a new account)

2. Go the the respective category (Cricket, Football, Hockey etc.) and select the
    forum  eg. General Cricket Discussions.

3. Select the forum topic under the category you are interested in posting a comment.

4. At the top left corner and bottom right corner of the blue outlined box you will see "Post Reply" and "Reply" respectively.

5. Select either one and you will be presented with two fields "Subject" and "Comment".

6. Enter a short description in the "Subject" field and then write your comments in the "Comments" field.

7. Select "Preview" to view how your comments will be displayed in the forum.

8. After previewing your comments, you can continue editing your entry in the Comments field and
     preview again to review your changes. If it is to your satisfaction then select "Save" to post the comments to the forum.

How do I a Post New Forum Topic for discussion?

Option 1

1. Log in using your Member Number and password. (See above for instructions to login and creating a new account)

2. Go the the respective category (Cricket, Football, Hockey etc.) and select the
    forum  eg. General Cricket Discussions.

3. At the top right corner of the blue outlined box you will see "Post New Forum Topic" select it.

4. You will be presented with a screen showing "Subject", "Forums" and "Body"fields. Ignore "Split summary at cursor".

5. Enter a short description of the topic for discussion in the "Subject" field.

6. Then enter the topic for discussion in the "Body" field.

Option 2

1. Log in using your Member Number and password. (See above for instructions to login and creating a new account)

2. In the left column you will be presented with your Member Number with the following list: "My account", "Create content", "Feed aggregator" and "Log out".

3. Select first "Create content" followed by  "Forum topic".

4. Enter a short description of the topic for discussion in the "Subject" field.

5. Click on the popup menu "Forums: - Please choose-" and select under which forum you wish the topic for discussion to appear.

6. Then enter the topic for discussion in the "Body" field.

7. Select "Preview" to review your discussion topic.

8. If all is well with the content then select "Save", your new Forum topic will be posted online.
